Fred es un hombre común y corriente, bueno, en realidad es un hombre desempleado con mucho tiempo libre entre las manos. Un día, y completamente por accidente, Fred conoce de manera estrepitosa a E.B., un conejo que resulta ser nada más y nada menos que el Conejo de Pascua. Tras su intempestivo encuentro E.B. termina lastimado y Fred debe llevarlo a casa, al menos hasta que se recupere. Sin embargo, para Fred no será fácil tener al simpático conejito como huésped y, en medio de disparatadas situaciones, ambos aprenderán que es lo que necesita para madurar.
